Founded by Weltkino Filmverleih, a renowned German film production and distribution company celebrated for its award-winning dramas, thought-provoking documentaries, unique comedies, and innovative thrillers, Kulturwelt+ brings the enchantment of the finest classic performances and cultural treasures directly to the screen.
Challenge
Weltkino sought an experienced partner with the right market approach and business model to provide an easy-to-manage solution for launching Kulturwelt+, their subscription-based streaming service. They partnered with Magine Pro for its flexibility in service design and rapid deployment capabilities. Tailored for German-speaking audiences with language settings and transactions in euros, Kulturwelt+ was to initially launch in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with plans for a broader European rollout in future. The service was designed to be accessible from the start on web, iOS, and Android devices, with future expansion to additional platforms.
