Challenge

The Data Innovation Summit 2018 sought a partnership with Magine Pro to power the live stream of their Data Octagon speaking session on their website for the first time. The live stream was required to be HD quality and accessible to anyone visiting their website.

Solution

Utilize Cloud technologies and the Magine Pro platform to ensure rapid deployment.

Embed the Magine Pro player on datainnovation.com.

Create a live stream of the Data Octagon speaking session using RTMP input and Adaptive Bit Rate output.

Enable access to Magine Pro player on datainnovation.com to all website users and requesting devices.

Result

We leveraged our OTT live capabilities and embedded the Magine Pro player on the Data Innovation website in time for the event. The Data Octagon speaking session was viewable at 1080p HD resolution on any device and was accessible to all visitors on their website. The live stream was successfully viewed all over the world with playouts originating from Europe, US, Australia, India and MENA countries.
