About The Content Innovation Awards
The Content Innovation Awards is a premier event celebrating innovation in content, distribution and delivery worldwide. The annual event in Cannes recognises content providers, distributors and technology companies that are helping transform today’s global television industry.
Challenge
Magine Pro partnered with the Content Innovation Awards in 2017 and again in 2018 to create a branded iOS app on the Magine Pro platform that enabled event guests to browse through the nominated candidates and content (movies and series) before and during the event.
Solution
Result
Magine Pro successfully built and deployed the Content Innovation Awards branded iOS application in time for the 2017 event. The app featured information on the awards nominated candidates, as well as playable movies and series within the nominated content categories, which were also updated in real-time via the Magine Console during the event as the winners in each category were announced. The app provided a personal interactive experience for guests during the event, who were able to download it before and during the awards via the Apps Store. In 2018, Magine Pro refreshed and relaunched the app in time for Content Innovation Awards 2018.
